Today, make a drive through city tour and view Colombo National Museum, Independence Memorial Museum, Old Parliament Building and Colombo Town Hall. Next, proceed to Dambulla, known for its cave temple. Upon arrival, proceed to Dambulla Cave Temple, listed under UNESCO Heritage Site in 1991 and the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

This morning, continue your journey towards the UNESCO site of the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya. The fortress is a historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of granite approximately 180-meters high. In the afternoon, proceed to Minneriya National Park for your wildlife adventure on board a 4WD jeep safari tour. Spot the famous elephants in herds as they graze on the grasses growing on the tank bed. If you’re lucky, you may come across leopards, sloth bear, spotted deer and many more resident wildlife animals.
